Southwest Boarding Passes

Does anyone know how early you should line up at the Southwest Counter to get your boarding pass? We have a group of 7 (3 kids, 4 adults) flying down together and we would like to have a group of seats close together. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

they usually start giving them out an hour ahead of departure time. Then, get right on line to board and WAIT...

I've found in Albany, NY an hour before is fine. Our last trip in Orlando had people lining up 1 hour and 40 minutes prior. SW started handing out the boarding pass's 1 hour and 20 minutes prior.
