Okay for starters : I have NEVER flown before.
But I try to read the post here as much as possible
I have a few questions for ya.........
**Is Southwest the Only Airline that is NS from Kanasas City MO to MCO???
** Why is Southwest not only any of the cheapfares websites like cheaptickets. com or expedia. com???
I would rather book straight from there website but was curious to why they are not on any of them...
**There are several differrent "fares" listed on there site, which one would be best for me to get?
Sorry if these are silly questions, but I will never know if I do not ask. I just signed up for the Rapid rewards so any info on that will help also , (like you can get points for renting with Almo etc but how, do you give them your card or what?) ALSO my husband will fly more then me in the next few months, should I sign him up separatly?
Thanks for any info

They have to request to be on those sites, and they choose not to. They are a discount airlines, and already discount themselves as much as they are willing to. You can only book them on their own site, and one other that I can't think of right now.

It depends on if you want a refundable ticket or not. Generally, go for the cheapest if you're sure you're going.

I wouldn't because if you have just one RR account your points will rack up quicker !

I have no idea if they are the only one that does NS.
They are not on cheaptickets etc, because they don't want to pay a commission to these places for airfare purchased there.
If your dates are firm, go for the least expensive. They don't charge if your dates change, they will, however, charge you the difference in fare if it goes up.
Yes, get a RR for your spouse.
You only rack up points for flights that you take, not the ones you book. The numbers are unique and they can tell the difference.
IE: Your number with your spouse's name will not earn you credit.

From the website:
No credits will be issued to a Member if the name on the government-issued photo identification does not match the name on the Rapid Rewards account.

That is incorrect.

No credits will be issued to a Member if the name on the government-issued photo identification does not match the name on the Rapid Rewards account.

Exactly. You need to sign them all up so they can get the reward credit too.

All airlines "miles" reward programs work that way.

I guess it's time to look into those airline reward credit cards.

Thanks for the info - I'm obviously new at this, and made some wrong assumptions!

By the way, I'm in CT too. Where's the best place to long-term park at Bradley?

We don't pay to park at Bradley, but, their long term lots are very reasonable. Also, Galaxy.
