Southwest Airlines Question

For those of you who travel Southwest, I have a question.

I am looking at a flight from Dallas Love Field to Orlando. It says there is 1 stop on the flight I have selected. On other flights, it says 1 stop, Houston, or something to that effect, indicating the layover is in Houston. Well, this flight doesn't say where it stops, if it does, or if it is a layover where you stay on the plane, or what?

Do the times below (leaving 12:15 Central Time, arriving 445 Eastern Time) indicate there is a stop or is that about right from Dallas to Orlando?

Air Itinerary
Trip Date Day Stops Routing Flight Routing Details
Depart Aug 15 Wed 1 DAL-MCO 1714 Depart Dallas (DAL) at 12:15 PM
Arrive in Orlando (MCO) at 4:45 PM
Return Aug 21 Tue 1 MCO-DAL 40 Depart Orlando (MCO) at 2:10 PM
Arrive in Dallas (DAL) at 4:55 PM

My understanding of SW is that if it doesn't indicate a city that you are stopping in then it's not a true layover where you change planes. You land, drop people off pick people up and take off again ... you never get off the plane.

the one time I flew SWA we had a N/S on the way back which seems to be your return trip as well since I am in Houston and that tiem looks about right from my flight. The first flight definetly has a stop but when you stop you don't get off. You stay on the plane, they bring in the new people and then you are up in the air again. Probably takes about 30 mins total.

What I was told by Southwest when I had the same question was that if it lists a stop but no location, then it indicates the number of times that plane stops and takes on/discharges passengers. However, if you're a through passenger you don't get off the plane. If it list stops and a place, then the place listed is a place where you have to change planes.

Yes, you have a stop, but you will not change planes. You can see that there is only one flight number indicated. And it says one stop. The other flights that show a different city have two flight numbers indicating you have to change planes. Sorry I don't know how to tell what city you stop in.
