does anyone have alot of experiance with SW. my dayes are sept. 13-18 and write now they only book till the 12thof sept. when do they change their booking dates? i have been checking everyday. please help

Hi,

Usually they book approx 6 months in advance. We have been waiting for the dates to change too since we are traveling 10/1-10/5. You can try calling Southwest directly. Sometimes the agents can give you an idea. My best guess is that its going to change anyday now.

that is what i am thinking too. i have a watch on travelocity and all their big sales have stopped in the past week. so i am guessing may 2nd. or atleast hoping

they will send you an email when the new dates come out.

Or you can start watching the Transportation board - they will announce when SW dates comes out - lots of people are looking!!!

download "ding" i get a ding at least 3 times a day and today is the first time that the dates are up to sept. 12. there has been actually a few flights i thought about booking, but then i was afraid dvc resorts wouldnt be available during the summer

since you call MS - while you have the airline on your internet you can call MS - and make sure you can get the reservation before you make the airline reservation.....

Southwest does not have a simple rule as to when they post new fares for additional dates. Normally I have seen the dates change 30-60 days before the close of current dates. I have contacted their customer service reps and they are not aware of when the new dates will be posted either. You can only keep checking the web as well as other ideas posted on the boards

I started a thread over on the transportation board... Waiting for SWA to open up dates beyond 9/12...

As the new flights come out I will update the title.....
