Southwest airfare release date

I am planning a trip for late April and have been waiting for the next batch of dates to be released. When the released the last batch they gave September 29 as their next release date, which would include my dates of travel. I had heard that they sometimes release early and to check periodically but when I looked today the release date is now October 27 which is now almost a week after my 180 day mark for ADRs!!! Does this happen often and should I continue to check in case they change it again???

I don't know the answer, but have another question. Where do you find the release dates? We need a flight for December 2016.

I saw this too. I am disappointed they moved the release date. I need to find good airfare for a party of 10!

When you go to Southwest page, on the top banner click on flights. This will pull down a menu where you can click on flight schedules. At the top of that page it will show you the next release date. Hope this helps.

Yes I know they are always subject to change, just never saw it pushed almost a month farther out. Kinda took me by surprise, especially when I was hoping (lol) for a push in the other direction!!
