Does anyone have a genereal idea when the airlines will put dates out past sept.? Is there a general rule about how many days out, before they post later dates.

Southwest has this posted on their website:

We are currently accepting air reservations through August 9, 2013. On February 4, 2013, we will open our schedule for sale through September 27, 2013. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

I wouldn't expect anything for Sept 28th or later for at least another month after that.
