Thanks for posting. Wow, they are really not offering any good deals from BWI to MCO are they??

Unfortunately, Orlando is not a participating city in this sale. At least, its not listed when you click on the sale banner on the home page. Scroll the list of cities and it goes from Orange County (CA) to Panama City Beach with NO Orlando in there.

All other Florida markets appear to be participating: Ft Lauderdale, Panama City, Jacksonville & Tampa Bay.

Just checked SDF to TPA...there are a few $80 flights listed but they are not the best times and you have to change planes. Of course, the non stop Saturday & Sunday flights definitely are not included in this sale.

AirTran is doing the same sale and Orlando is one of the cities available from my home airport. This is almost making me want to book and unexpected trip.

I have another flight scheduled for Sept and it should save me $140...wooohooo but I cant modify online and when I call I just get disconnected...

wonder if I should just cancel and rebook...

They must have a glitch in the system, because I can't modify my reservation either, and there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to!!! :confused3

Don't go by the listed cities. They didn't list Denver to Orlando. But when I checked the price for my dates to Orlando on the regular site it showed 120.00 each way. A huge savings!

I just received an email 1/2 hour ago notifying me of the sale.

I keep getting an error message after I plug in the flight information - it won't take me to the next page. I've tried all the different computers in the house, and the same thing keeps happening.

I'm guessing the website is jammed. I'm pretty frustrated right now! :headache:

I can't even get on the website at all to even look. Must be jammed!

Nope. :sad2:I keep holid ngout hope, but if we don't get airfare booked soon, we'll be stuck in a Ford Taurus from MD to Orlando!

This is NO SALE !!!!:confused3 We bought tickets a while back to go from Chicago to Orlando 10/22 thru 10/29, and it cost us $295 / person. I thought that it was high then. I hoped to get a credit with SW by finding a cheaper price. :sad2: The sale price is right now is $510 / person. :sad2:

Thank you! I thought I was the only one! We're just waiting for exact dates before reserving our trip in October. A couple of weeks ago, I priced Southwest from Pittsburgh to MCO for 3 adults, and it was $1100. Today when I heard about the sale, I priced the same flights for the same dates and it was now $1700!!! What is going on?

Maybe we should just drive....even with gas prices the way they are, it HAS to be cheaper than $1700!

the sale did help nashville to orlando...there were some $80 that were not there a few days ago.

Keep checking the SW site. I checked it about every 30 minutes until right now when the rate finally went down to $80 (yes to Orlando). All day it has been over $200. So the rates seem to be constantly changing. Keep trying. :thumbsup2

My nonstop from ISP to MCO went down to $80! Now we each have $99 in travel funds. I wish the sale went just one day longer; we're coming home 11/17!

I got 80 bucks each way St. louis to Orlando in October. A few days ago the same flight was $155. The SW website was an exercise in patience but I finally got it to work!

I can get a deal from ONT to MCO for only $240/rt. :goodvibes I still don't know if DD11 can miss school so we can get the free DDP (already booked just in case). I think I'll go ahead and book the flights and then if I find out in July (or so) that she really can't miss teh last 4.5 days of school before her fall break then I can always get a refund, right? I mean when was the last time you could get a RT ticket from California to Florida? It's been years!

This is definitely a good deal for me! Awesome sale!:cloud9:
