For any who were wondering about not getting the early-bird, I just checked in online at exactly the 24 hour mark and we got A49.

On June 3, I flew from Chicago to San Francisco on a flight leaving at 8:25 a.m. I was on the computer right at 8:25 a.m. the day before, and I got A59 and A60. I'm thinking the EBCI is becoming much more popular.

:confused3 Must be the market/cities. I've checked either my husband or my kids in for 4 different flights in the last week (3 out of Milwaukee, one out of Ft. Lauderdale) and the highest number I've gotten for any of them was A33 checking in at 24 hours. And that one I realized that I was checking them in for a flight that was in Eastern Time, but since I'm in Central Time I didn't think of the hour difference so I think I actually did it an hour late! Probably because BWI (where the other two flights were to) is much more of a business location, people don't really care if they sit together.

If I did EBCI, do I need to do the 24 hour check in? I just want to clarify because I feel like I am starting to stress over everything! I dont think I need too because that is why I paid the fee.

The early check in has made a difference.....before I would always get A 19-20 or so.....now I have gotten A 50"s even a B....did EBCI this trip and got A 19, 20 and 21. If you pay for it you don't have to worry about manually checking in...just need to get boarding passes at the airport.

Thanks! I swear I am losing my mind! I thought that is what I was paying for!:goodvibes

Someone I know used EBCI from BLT to LAS in January and got B1! So you never know...

Another good reason to use EBCI:

My dad, brother and I were flying out of TPA. We did EBCI and went to get our boarding passes. It gave my dad and I A22-3 and my brother wwas told it was not available online. At the airport they gave us C-50. When we showed proof of EBCI they bumped him back to A-24 (weird becaus there were two of then that flight)

Anyway, EBCI protects you aginst the dreaded computer glitch
