Hi everyone,
There is very little info that I can find on best southern excursions. We are beach people and so are looking for beach/water excursions. Any experience with any of these types of excursions would be much appreciated. We have a 5/7year old.
Thank you

We will be on the Southern cruise in April. There is not a ton of info on this itinerary on DIS since it hasn't been offered that often by DCL. Try searching "southern caribbean" and you'll come across a few threads talking about it, as well as a few trip reports. I'd also suggest heading over to the Cruise Critic forum where you will find a wealth of info as each port has their own forum where there's tons of info.

enjoy snorkeling and / or kayaking - then Antigua Paddles (on our cruise a few years back DCL bought ALL spots for the day, so you had to go through DCL - which was fine)

Barbados - DCL excursion: Snorkeling to see Sea Turtles. Well we saw one which was pretty cool!! Afterwards, the boat went to a beach and we had time in the water / on the beach for between 30 and 60 minutes. But for me the Star of the Show was the Boat Ride itself!! High speed boat ride (withOUT the tight turns and spins that they do on some specific "thrill ride" excursions.

Grenada - River Tubing - we were there in October and the river levels were pretty low. Have friends who had done this with a lot more water!! Either way, lots of fun.
