Southern California CityPass tickets?

I'm in the process of trying to figure out which ticket option would be best for me for my upcoming Disneyland trip. I also want to go to Universal Studios, and while looking at their website, I found that they sell the Southern California CityPass. I've also seen that sold elsewhere for $199, but it looks like if you purchase it on the Universal Studios website, it is $179. From what I can tell, the only catch is that Universal Studios is the first park that it has to be used at. That works out well with my plan anyway, along with 3 days at Disneyland/California Adventure, and possibly Sea World. Also included on the pass is either the San Diego Zoo or San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park, but I don't think I'll have time for that.

What I'm basically wondering is if this is the best deal that I'll be able to get. I think 1 day at Universal is $49 and 3 days at Disney is $149, so buying the CityPass does seem to be better than buying individual park tickets. I just want to make sure that I'm completely clear on this before I actually buy tickets. Thanks for any help! :)

That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Ive seen them for $199 too and bit lower at Costco but if your not a member you pay more and you have to pay postage so sounds like the Universal price is pretty good! :thumbsup2
