I will be taking my son, niece and nephew to Anaheim for three days, during which time we will visit DCA, Disneyland and Universal. My niece is 11 and the two boys are both 14. All of the kids are experienced WDW veterans. I am hoping that we will be eligible for the military discounts at DL and DCA since my brother will be activated on or about that time. Also, there is a Valuepass for Universal and Seaworld for $75 pp. This pass is effective for 14 days from the date of purchase, at least at this time. We will be staying at the Sheraton Anaheim, on the concierge. I got a good rate so the continental breakfast and snacks seemed like a good deal. We will then be heading for San Diego for five days. Two nights at the Hotel Del Coronado (my son wanted to stay in a classic hotel and at least pretend he sees a ghost and then I got a great pre paid rate at the Marriott Resort and Marina for the remaining five days. For the Zoo and Wild Animal Park, I am planning on getting a Koala pass (annual pass) for the kids at $25 each and either a Delux two park pass for myself for $46 (minus 10% military discount for all passes) or a $66 annual pass. Does anyone know if there is a value type pass that includes Seaworld, Universal and the zoos? We will have a full size rental car which I got from Budget for $137 for the entire 8 days, including taxes. (its a great rate and I called at the right moment). Any other money savings tips will be more than welcomed. Thanks, Dawn

I have never seen a ticket package that includes the Zoo/Wild Animal Park. If you decide on the adult Zoo Membership, you will receive two free admission passes and other discounts.

I will be visiting Disneyland, DCA and Universal THIS weekend with a DIS friend. I will check for any other ticket options and report back on Tuesday.

I found a good discount for Universal Studios Hollywood. From Coke:

Real Savings at the Real Hollywood
$15 OFF !

Bring this can and save $15 off admission to the World's Largest
Movie Studio and Theme Park

Good for up to 4 people
Valid 3/01/02 through 6/15/02. Cannot be combined with other offers.
Restrictions Apply.

I have 36 cans of Diet Coke and Coke. I will check out the offer this weekend. The adult tickets are $30 and children are $20 with this offer. :)

I had no problem using the Diet Coke cans to save $75 on 5 tickets this past Saturday. I am guessing it is a popular promotion. The tickets we received said Coke offer and there was a recycle bin right next to the ticket window.

If you need a can with the discount offer, let me know. :)

I am watching for Sea World promotional offers. There are some websites that offer discount tickets.

Thank you Tink! I will have a car so I can always go pick up a six pack or hit the soda machine when I get there...I hope!

Is it a special can of Coke? Or will any coke can do? I live in NY and my son and I are visiting Disneyland in mid-April...we planned on doing Universal...I would love a discount...

Thanks for more Info...

It is a special can with the discount coupon. I have 9 empty cans in my office and would be happy to send one to anyone who would like one. Just send me a PM with your address and I will get it out ASAP.

:)

The Zoo and Wild Animal Park are both operated by the San diego Zoological Society so if you buy an annual pass for One, it automatically entitles you to admission to BOTH.

Along with your annual pass, you'll get coupons for up to 4 free admissions (so buying or two annual passes may be enough for your whole family to get in).

At the Zoo, consider doing a bus tour, they give you alot of information about the animals Plus you can take the "kangaroo bus tour" which allows you to "hop" on or off at different points, explore on your own and then take the next bus again to another part of the Zoo. Definetly makes it easier to see the whole zoo in one day!

Sea World is separate and requires its own admission. But if you have a AAA card you get a 10% discount and they may also have a military discount.

On the universal website they offer a Multi Park ticket for Universal Studios Hollywood and Sea World San Diego
