I know when we use to get calls from DS when he was overseas, it would always come up as a state calling because he used calling cards! Now he uses VIOP and it comes up as Indiana Call and his # instead of just a state!

Now with call centers all over the place, you never know who it was. So you have Direct TV? Last year when I wanted to add another Tivo, theycalled me back to confirm and the caller ID said Idaho one time and Kansas another.
Maybe it was something like that.

You may be on to something there.... he is at the vet's today for a little procedure, maybe he was calling for help.

They called again the next day and DH answered it....I think it was a call from Verizon trying to sell something.

Florida calls me all the time. Funny thing about it is, their number isn't a florida area code. hmmm....

I keep getting calls from ppl claiming to be from MSU wanting me to take a survey. The thing about that though... the number says the call is from Florida. I didn't know Michigan State had a campus there.
