For those of you doing the South Beach Diet I have a question. I am not crazy about eggs, so what would be a good alternative for me to have for breakfast(Phase 1)? TIA

I'm a total newbie to South Beach, but this a.m. I was starved and in a rush, so I had ricotta and a cut up tomato. Tasted good. On the Prevention site I think this is addressed in the FAQs about South Beach. ;)

Thanks I found it. They say cottage cheese(which I can't even bring myself to try), meat(that's good but I wanted something with my meat), and low-fat cheese(ok I guess). My problem is there's so much I don't like. Maybe I'll try the quiche cups, that's at least a little different than plain old scrambled eggs.

this is one thing that is delicious and a good snack too on low fat ritz crackers...My grandson when he was little would say he wanted to go to the cottage cheese restaurant. He still loves it as does my new grandson who is just one.......Try it on ritz..

What does it tast like (nobody say chicken)? If you had to compare the taste, not the consistency, to something else, what would it be?
