Sounds pretty busy in DL right now

holy crap, New Years Eve, the hub was completely filled at 7PM... it was madness!

Yes, my friends that were there never did get back into the park last night. Stood in line at the gates for 1.5 hrs and then just went back to the hotel and watched the fireworks from there. CRAZY!!

Good to hear! We'll be there the 2nd and I was a little worried.

BTW. It ended up being INSANE crowded LOL. Like, when we pulled in off the 5, up over the bridge to the parking structure the line to park was ON the bridge even with most (all but 1 I think) of the parking booths open. The line to buy tickets was HUGE and wrapping all over the place. At 9:00 at the lockers outside I had to wonder from station to station to find a locker that wasn't rented yet.

We had lots of fun. Went on a few rides, but mostly slowed down and watched the shows/street performers.

We left for lunch at around 1pm and DL was sold out!!

We leave in a few minutes to go back and see what is going on. My 16yo daughter got us all fastpasses for Splash Mountain before we left. I sure hope we can get back in to DL!
