Im so bummed! My DH and I are going to Lancaster tomorrow night with our best friends for an overnight without our kids for the first time in 10 years and its going to be cold and rainy. It's okay though, I am sure just us being together and silly, it will be for us!

Same here! As long as the nasty stuff holds off until tonight - I have to pickup my parents from the airport - getting in from a week in Vegas! Then it can snow or whatever. I'm working on a quilt that needs to get finished this year. It will give me a good excuse to stay in and make some progress on it!

It's going to be yucky weather in the Chicago area today - rain and then snow. But for the rest of the weekend, I think we should have some sun and colder temps (30's).

I don't mind if it's going to be a rainy weekend. My DS is coming to visit and we are going to just hang in the house and drink tea and catch up.
As far as I'm concerned it can do whatever it wants out there!

I've had a very long week this week (my grandmother's funeral)...I'm looking foward to sleeping LATE tomorrow (pop a few tylenol PM to insure that tonight...), clean the house, and get goign on "The Da Vinci Code" which I really haven't "gotten into" this week since my mind has been elsewhere.

Same thing is on the menu here tonight...DH is cooking since I'm doing spring cleaning in the house. I got inspired to start that since it's been so mild. We were sunny & near 70 yesterday but the clouds began moving in a few hours ago & the temp is going down. Supposed to have snow starting tonight & into tomorrow...this is just the craziest weather lately. I'm thinking a big pot of Bear Creek veggie soup with Italian sausage added to it needs to go on the stove tomorrow and simmer for a few hours. I actually love cold, rainy/snowy weekends once in a while so I'm looking forward to this one.

Not good weather in Maine this weekend either. Saturday is suppose to be cold with heavy, windswept rain changing over to snow by night.

We have dinner plans but I'd rather stay home, eat junk food and watch the Patriot's game on tv.

Chilly and rainy here for the weekend, too. Of course I have a jillion errands to run and it is true that Californians do not know how to drive in the rain. Bear in mind cold here is about 50 degrees, I guess I cannot complain too much

more rain for us in the Northwest. Its been raining every day for a month! We've been putting off taking the christmas decorations down, waiting for a dry day and now it looks like a christmas massacre in the front yard-- the blow- up pooh, frosty and moose are all deflated and the light up deer got knocked over from the wind. I told Dh rain or shine tomorrow all that stuffs coming in , the neighbors are going to think there was a drive by shooting!
