I'm booked with the reg dinning, and have 3 kids 6,8,9(normal eaters). We are going with my sister with a 6 yearold but she wouldn't be upping her plan(she has the basic though). I checked and it would cost us $450 to upgrade the plan, would include our cups, 4 extra snacks and 4 meal credits daily. Would it be worth getting the plan just to eat extra cs, We will be using 7 credits for ts with my sister, most likely sharing some of the cs with her(sharing from my meal). We would come out even, but have to pay no taxes(I hate taxes!). IDK what to do? cash, credit or meal plan?

Probably not worth it if you're going to use the extra credits for CS. The general rule of thumb is you should plan on using 2/3 of your DxDP credits on TS to be cost-effective.

Look at it this way, you're paying an extra $9/child for a CS meal that costs about $5 and a snack that may average $3. If you're really planning on using the mugs, then you might break even there.

For an adult, though, the math is worse. You're paying $33 ($31 peak) for a CS meal that might run $15 or so and a $3 to $4 snack. The "loss" on just one night of that would pay for the resort mug.
