Sorry, I know this is asked a million times. But we are buying a new point & shoot camera this weekend. We have a Samsung and hate it, too slow to focus. We miss so many shoots. We had a Cannon before this and loved it (don't know why I picked a Samsung). So we are buying a Cannon. Any reviews would help.
We have a budget of around $ 300.00

Also, what is it that makes you really hate the camera you have now? Knowing what you don't like will help you avoid that in a future model.

As often as this topic comes up there should be a sticky thread for the top review sites, and possibly the top recommendations of the posters on this forum.
