what rides/attractions are out of commission during the HP contruction? We tenetively have a 5 day trip planned in August ( only went once before in 2002) and DD loved Dueling Dragons and DS loved the Pteradactyl ride...anyinfo you can give a newbie is greatly apprecated! I read the beautiful dragon stautes are gone for Fire and Ice, , what else is blocked off?

So far only the Flying Unicorn. No one knows for sure if/when DD will be closed fro rethemeing. Hopefully early next year!!

The P-Flyers won't be affected since it's away from the construction area. The Flying Unicorn is the only attraction that has been closed (except for The Enchanted Oak restaurant which was demolished) during this construction period. We don't know when/if Dueling Dragons will be rethemed so we'll have to wait and see.

Pam, make sure that you go to Pteranadon Flyers as soon as you get to the park (at opening) since it gets really, really busy really really quickly. There are no express passes allowed because of the very poor capacity.

Hi Damo...yes, I remember that about the ride from the last trip...although I do have to say one CM was super nice and walked DS and I up through the exit for a ride...he thought it was stupid that it wasn't in the FOL I know it isn't a thrill ride, but DS loves it. Thanks for the reminderI am hoping we can pull this off, the 40% off the room is making it possible and DD won a ticket...but DS is a WDW die hard and his Bday falls right during our plans, so guess who wants to go to DHS for the day? WDW MAY have won out for 3 days, but with SM and TTA down, USO got the vote for the money, but if DD is down, sheesh, might be Busch Gardens since our final destination is Sarasota to drop DD off at college.
