I may have already asked this question before so I apologise now. If you have the 10 day world pass and want to visit lets say MGM Studios in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon - does that count as 1 day off your ticket?? I did ask the question in a Disney Store and they said that it does only count as 1 day. However some friends of ours say that because it is not a hopper pass that you can't do it. Can anyone please put me out of my misery.

Thanks in advance

Paula,

Yes 1 day on your ticket can cover as many Disney parks as you can fit in. It makes no difference if you visit one or all 4 - it just takes one day off your 10.

Just adding my 2 cents to make you feel better ;) I agree with Tony's reply.

I haven't used my 10 day pass yet, but I understood it to be a hopper in that you CAN hop and it will cost you one day however many parks / water parks / Disney Quest, etc. you visit on any one day.

just to confirm - I have used my my 10 day pass, and we hopped a lot!
We used all 10 days, and many times we visited more than 1 park a day.

Hi Paula

You can tell Steve "I told you so" now you've had it confirmed, I love it when my DH is wrong, which is most of the time in my eyes.

Not long to go now Paula, I'm soooooooooo excited.

We will have 10 Day Passes for our trip in December, in the past we've had Length of Stay passes so didn't need to worry about counting the days and just put our passes in the machine each time.

Just one thing I'm not sure about is, with the 10 Day Pass, when you park hop, and get to the second park that day, do you put the pass in the machine or not? Or just show the hand stamp? Just need to know so I don't end up taking extra days off my pass!

Thanks :D

mazzy,

you need to put the ticket in the machine, and show a hand stamp. it won't take an extra day off - it knows you were already in a park the same day. The CM at the gate can see all the details on his side of the gate - they are pretty clever tickets.

1 thing I didn't know.

You need to do a finger scan for these tickets.

The first time you use the ticket, it will scan your finger and remember it, and then the next time it will match it up against that first scan.

make sure you write names on the ticket - we didn't know which had Phil's finger scan on it, and which was mine. Bit of chaos at the ticket booth!

Kids don't need to do the finger thing.
