I just wanted to take a minute and tell everyone who was waiting on me that I'm soooo sorry about the last few months. I was involved in an exchange and also owed someone a pin and I hope those people see this so they will know I was not intentionally trying to dupe them out of things. My first package for the exchange was unfortunately lost and the second one ended up falling into the last couple of months of my miserable life. In December DH and I began having some very serious problems in our marriage. I had purchased items for a second box for the exchange and he promised to mail it for me as my schedule was insane... I should have known better. The pin I owed someone was also supposedly taken to the po by him. To make a very very long story short, we soon after split up and both the box and the pin envelope were in his possession. He wouldn't let me have either one or anything else that was mine in his car... We have been in counseling for over 2 months ago and I'm still not sure that we'll work things out nor am i sure I want to. However, when he came to get the kids this weekend (Friday) he brought the box and pin envelope with him. The box was still in great shape and I went ahead and mailed it on Saturday - the recipient will get it 2 months late but I just couldn't not send it and meet my obligations. The pin envelope on the other hand was nasty with grease and stuff so I have had to repackage it and it will be in the mail Monday afternoon along with some extras to make up for the time that has passed.
I'm not writing this for sympathy or anything. I just wanted everyone to know that I hadn't just skipped out. My reputation is important to me and I enjoy being part of the exchanges, trades, and general boards. Although I've been slightly (a day or so) late in the past, I've never not followed through on anything here and didn't want anyone to think otherwise.
I would very much like to be part of exchanges in the future if you guys can find a way to trust me in the future. For now, I'll try to check in from time to time with everything else going on. I can't believe its been nearly 2 months since I've been on here...
