Good morning, everyone!! I missed you guys!!
I wanted to check in and let you all know how everything is going. Thank you to everyone for checking on us!! Things are going well with SIOLB. . .of course DH & I just spend most of our time holding him and/or looking at him saying, "He's so cute!" Not that we're biased or anything!!
Things with me are going ok. Over the past 5 weeks (2 before he came, and the 3 after) they've been sending me quite a bit of work from my actual job. That's ok, since I get to make up some hours, but it ended up being all I could get done when SIOLB was napping, so no DIS-ing for me!!
I am feeling pretty good. I didn't have any problems with the C-section or the recovery, but my blood pressure isn't cooperating. I've always had really low blood pressure, but right after I had him, it went up. The dr said that post-partum high blood pressure was kind of common, but they can't get it down. So, I get to go to the dr every week to have it checked (gee, it's just like the weekly pregnant visits!!).
No worries, though. . .it'll come down. We just have to get it there.
I thought the DIS Aunties might want to see some new pics. These were taken last Fri when he hit the big three-week mark!

They gave me a prescription for BP medicine--I take 50 mg twice a day. And I get to go back in a week to have it checked again. Yay. So much fun!! At least the top number is coming down, though.
