Can you still get free dining in September if you stay at the campgrounds? I was thinking of tent camping for part of our Sept. trip. I've been wanting to try camping for some time, but haven't yet. Since this would be our first time, so I figured we'd only do it for 2 or 3 days. But, I need to know if our free dining would be extended to that part of our trip, so I can plan accordingly. I know this is a question my fellow Disers will be able to answer :thumbsup2 Thanks :goodvibes

Nope...no free dining plan for campsites...only cabins. Sorry!!

Well, that's ok. We'll be camping because we want to, the free dining doesn't make a difference, I just need to know what to plan for. I've been lurking around this forum this weekend, looking for advice for new campers. I'm just waiting for the kids to get out of school for the summer before I really start planning and asking all you pros for advice.

I swear, I love the DIS!

And thanks for answering so quickly!

You might want to consider the Disney Dining Experience card. It saves you 20% on each sit down meal. It really pays for itself in on or two dinners!

I believe most places accept AAA as well if youre already a member...you can get a decent discount on the resorts too with AAA....not as good as FREE dining...but it sure adds up.

You can get the dining plan for camp sites -- just not the free promotion. I second the DDE suggestion though.

I just renewed mine. You will want to call 407-566-5858. We have annual passes, so we got ours for $60. (25% off) Beware though, you only need ONE card...they will try to get you to sign up for more than one, at $25 extra a card. Just FYI.

There are no stupid questions....just sometimes stupid answers. Which you get a lot of here! :rotfl2:

How much for the Disney Dining Experience card without an annual pass? And how many meals at the table do you get the discount for? We are a family of five, will one card work?

So why was this suggested to the OP who made no mention of being an annual pass holder or a FL resident? According to the link it is only available to those 2 types of guests, unless I missed something.

sometimes it's worth buying an annual pass for the perks not just to get into the parks.

That is why I gave out the number, so the OP can find out ALL the options.;)
