Sorry! I have to delete my posts on this PJ!!!

I am so confused about your VR. You don't have anything really planned at DC for this right?

1.You are going to do breakfest at disney in the red dress and the family in costume.
Are you going to wear the red dress, red swin suit under it?
2.then go to DC
3.then do the VR at the dolphin pool. Just the four of you no offical.
4.Then trash the dress in the pool.
5.Have the park photo guy doing the pictues of this.
6.then swim with the dolphins and the kids.
7.then go back to Disney.
8.then put on the black dress for fireworks

then enjoy the rest of the days on vacation.

Is that the plan?

Awesome dress! Hot mamma! Glad you've finally been able to make some decisions. Love all the pics!

I wish I was closer to all the DISbrides who need help with flowers, b/c I'm pretty good at silk stuff. I have no clue about the real thing, but I can make some nice silk arrangements. Can you take them out of the plastic and post a pic and see what they look like? Maybe I can brainstorm with you?

Here are more pictures of the floral. I had asked for a red rose and white orchid bouquet, I had though it was going to be one where I held it and it fell down- but the problem I really have with this is it only looks good from one angle (above). It's a little thin I think. The side views are terrible with all the greenery. I'm not even sure how you'd hold it as it is now. What do you think I can do to help it?? I also liked the idea of some hidden mickey bling or something seashell/beachy. Thank you SOOOOO much!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

It looks like someone just grabbed the stems and tied them together with no form. This works ok for roses, like the ones I made, but not different flowers like this. My advice is to pull it all apart.

In order to get the shape you are looking for - is it like this?

The easiest way to do that is to go to Wal-Mart, Michaels, or a craft store and get a bouquet holder with the foam in it like this:

Then you stick the flowers into it to create the shape you want. You'll have to cut the stems shorter on the ones that go into the top and the front. Plus you'll have to remove all the greenery from the stems. Then leave the stems longer as you work to the bottom, and then take the greenery or ivy and leave it the longest hanging at the bottom front. Does that make sense?

Then if you want to add mickey bling or some shells, put those in last as accents. You'll have to use floral wire or thin gauge craft wire to make them and then just put them around the bouquet in between the flowers.

Last but not least, wrap your handle with ribbon and secure it with some hot glue.

Does this help?

Any questions, let me know. If you are totally lost, mail it to me and I'll redo it if you want!

I hope that your florist is able to sort out your flowers! I know how it is when kids are sick. The world stops and nothing else is important.

Also, I really like your new itinerary. With kids, that is a lot to cram into one day. You want to be able to enjoy it with them and not have tired and cranky kids. I think for everyone, it will be much more relaxing and enjoyable if you split it up!

Pictures at Epcot in the red dress are going to be amazing! I added Epcot onto my photo shoot as well, and if worse comes to worse and I have to cut out MK photos out of my budget, I think I'm hanging on to Epcot!

Just read your recent TR, what an awesome thing for your DH to arrange! It really makes me want to go one year for MNSSHP! Your kids are adorable! Sounds like everything is all coming together, hope it goes well with the flowers.

awww thats so sweet of him to do all that work for your surprise trip and VR! Sounds like you had a blast, cant wait to hear more:goodvibes

Calesta, I am so happy for you!!! Everything is coming along beautifully! Your DH is fantastic! I think it's a great idea to spread the activities out to 3 days. That will be so much better for you and the kids!:thumbsup2
