Sorry I have been gone

I am sorry I haven't been around much lately, but my Mom just had surgery on the arteries on her neck and I had to fly down to Florida this past week to be with her. I just got home tonight and I am leaving next Sunday to go back down with my family, so I won't be around again. I will be here this week though, so hopefully I can catch up. I am sorry to my SS person, as I am mailing your package out Monday morning!

My mom is okay now and was released from the hospital yesterday. I miss her already!

Lori, the only needs she has right now is plenty of rest. Her neck is quite sore and will be for a while. I am anxious to get back down there to make sure she doesn't need anything (Must be the mother in me...how weird is that? Mothering my own Mother? LOL)

Denise, don't worry about them telling on you...everyone knows that bad girls are much more fun to party with!

Beanie, hope your mom has a speedy recovery. I know that's a tough spot to be sore. DH's grandmother had that procedure done about 10 years ago and she's still as fresh as ever!

Be sure to take good care of yourself too. It is funny though how that motherly instinct just kicks in. But the tough part is always getting them to let you take over their roll.
