Sorry for the crazy posts

Hi to all,

I am the real wendy darling who has posted on these boards for the past 2 years. A younger family member has been staying with my family. She is troubled to say the least. She got onto my computer without my knowledge or permission.

I would never post such rude posts, or argue with someone just to argue. If you look at the history of my posts, you will see that. She took the liberty of posting under my username. I think she would argue with a wall if she could. There are a few nice posts. Those are not mine either. She is Jekyll and Hyde. Please take every post with my username with a grain of salt.

I logged onto my computer and came on here less than an hour ago. I have 2 pm's and tried to figure out why they had been sent. I have looked at a few of the posts (football, children, and working) she started and could not believe what she has done.

I did not just become crazy, and start creating drama on this board.

I come from 2 loving parents who worked hard to support me. I work because I have to. I do work at an airline. Sometimes I like my job and sometimes I do not. I am also in the process of becoming a teacher. I am proud to be part of the middle class. And on a side note, I do not care if someone has one penny or a million dollars, all that is important is what is on the inside.

On her behalf I am so sorry that she started all of this drama. If anyone was hurt I am so sorry.

I am now going to change my password.

Oh man! That would make me so mad if that happened to me!

If it's any comfort, I'll share a similar story. My adult (barely) nephew moved in with my family for a short time several years back. He ended up getting a nasty virus on my computer because he was surfing particularly freakish porn sites. He didn't make me look bad in doing so, so it's not really the same...but I guess I'm just saying that I know how it feels to have someone feel free to use your computer to do as they please with no regard for you.

I saw some of the posts. It sure does explain a few things. Changing your password is a great idea. I would be so embarrassed if someone did that to me.

I just got through reading a thread that was locked. I just could not believe what I was reading from your username. Now I understand why.

I am sorry this happened to you. I hope she gets the help she needs.

Oh My! That does explain a lot! This is a good reminder to us all to be careful about letting others use our computers, especially as the holiday's are here.

Make sure you also "uncheck" the Remember Me feature so you won't be automatically logged in, no password needed.

And depending on your operating system you may be able to set up different user accounts that are password protected. Meaning that others could be logged in as "Guests" on your computer and not have access to your cookies.

I tried not to laugh at your first sentence, really I did.

OP, you are already sounding much more normal and mature than your 'predecessor'. I do hope that poor girl gets some help though. If her father really is ill, then I feel for her. That's a tough thing for anyone, let alone an adolescent, to go through. (I just guesstimated on her age)
