My home builder has just informed me that my home should be ready to close on guess what DEC.1st...The week Im supposed to be in disney..I still have my reservation reserved if anyone is desperate for Nov.29th to Dec.4th at boardwalk....for a small fee....

We had our house built and judging from experience I would take the Builder's closing date with a BIG teaspoon of salt. It's not up to him anyway, the closing gets set by the title company and it's unlikely that they would close on the first day of the month. Besides - you have input. If you don't want them to close that day tell them they have to wait a week - you'll be on vacation.

I agree with Sean. Just tell them you need to set it for the next week, because you will be on vacation. Closings almost NEVER happen the first time they are scheduled anyway!

Yes - It's really me... Tanya -- the long lost person!... Hope everyone is doing well... I haven't been on here in ages!
I agree with John - I feel terrible that we are not coming to Disney to meet up with all of you.... It's not just the fact of us buying a new home in PA --- we are also closing on the house that we are selling at the end of November and it's just going to be too hectic.... I love being in Disney that time of the year so make room for us next year!.... and add one on --- our adorable baby boy, Thomas!
Hey --- we are planning on doing the Disney cruise in May before we wind up losing our points!.... I believe the May 10th sailing - Western Carribean... still looking into it...

Oh that is a shame I was looking forward to seeing you guys again but hey that's great news on the house.

Oh and a Disney Cruise in May that sounds great after all what do they say about DVC points if you haven't banked, if you don't use them you lose them

Hi Sam, Hi Dan --- Hello to all.... I hardly get on the computer much these days but it's nice to see everyone is doing well.
I am bummed out about Disney too... we have banked points so we might do the cruise in May.... Hopefully all of you will be going to Disney next December and we can catch up..... Hey - even before that.... ! Well - just came down to check my mail. Now I have to check on the baby.
