Does Pop have any roll aways or cots? There are 4 of us, but DS and DD don't share beds well. I thought the answer was no, and had planned on bringing an air mattress, but then read threads about people being offered a roll away in a handicapped accessible room to increase the occupancy. If they had them, it would be 1 less thing to drag with us. Thanks for the help!

Hi headoflife,

I have the same problem with my kids - too old to sleep together and not quite old enough to be in a separate room. They do offer rollaways ($10/nt.) but from what I understand it can get extremely crowded since the rooms are small.

Hope this helps,

The POP staff was a pain about us getting a roll-away last year. At first they didn't want to let us rent one and kept asking why we needed to with a family of only three. They made us feel like we were trying to smuggle in extra children, and they brought out a manager. DH and I are used to a king sized bed (not full sized) and no one wants to sleep with DS who spins around like a windmill all night long. Because the POP beds are secured to the floor, they gave us a king room and we rented a roll-away, but not without a heated debate at the front desk. They stated that at POP it was a fire hazard to have the roll-away in a standard (non-king) room. We had never had that problem before at the Allstars or Riverside. We didn't mind the king room, it was just the lousy way they treated us that we didn't care for. Our room was also in the furthest building away from the foodcourt/bus stop. :confused3

Could Husband sleep with son and wife sleep with daughter?

The rollaway in a handicap room does increase the occupancy in the room which probably should not have been allowed. Adding a rollaway to a room with two double beds could be difficult.

How about a room with two queen sized beds, ala a deluxe? Most of the deluxes also have a day bed. It costs more, but would meet your needs better.

I think we will just bring the air mattress. Others have reported they have done so without any problem, and DD sleeps fine on it. We can just prop it up when not in use, or ask to have the table removed, since I don't anticipate using it much, if at all.
