Sorry, basic PhotoPass/MaxPass question

I don't ever remember ever using PhotoPass, so can I get a clarification here? I am considering buying MaxPass for our visit later this summer, and trying to sell my wife on the idea. What are the benefits to PhotoPass? Do I get access to all of my photos from just that day and download them for free? Do I have to download them that same day? For example, if I buy MaxPass for just one day of the three or four we are there - can I download all of the pictures for that single day over the next 60 days?

Sorry about the newbie questions on PhotoPass, but the website isn't helpful.

Does PhotoPass include any prints for free? Or is it just digital downloads?

MaxPass (MP) includes PhotoPass as you know.
For the day(s) you purchase MP you're able to get as many photos taken by Disney Photographers, plus ride photos.
For ride photos we take a picture with our cell phone and add the ride photos to the photo pass account at a break time.
If you want prints from Disney it will cost you. I've always had photos printed at Costco after our trip.

Here are a couple of information links

You get the code from the ride photos and put them into the app and photographers scan a code on your phone in the app. The photos appear right there in the app for you to download and I believe stay there for 90 days.

thanks for the feedback... I think we are going to do it - the PhotoPass is pushing us over the edge.

Plus, once you buy it the first day, you can use the same code for all the days you're there. I took a screenshot of it (recommendation from here) and just had it available when we had photos done for the photographer to scan.
