Does the main pool area have a children's pool or just the play area with the fountains? Thanks
Tara

It looks to me (I haven't seen it) as though the zero entry side of the pool stays very shallow for quite a long way. It would probably be a good area for small children as well as the disabled or others who need a little help getting into the water.

That's all just a guess, but it definitely makes sense inside my head!

Hi,
Had a look round yesterday and all I can remember was the High Rock Spring pool (Zero entry) and the Donald wet play area with jet fountains. There was also two whirlpool spas.

Mick.

:smooth:

The WHOLE main pool is all 3ft deep.

I forgot to ask why. The other pool has shallow and also 5ft deep parts. One of the spas at the main pool has a lift for handicap access also.

It seemed shallow in those pool pics posted long ago when it was still empty.

The markings are difficult to read in the allearsnet picture of the end of the slide, but looks to be "3ft ?in 1M"

I looked at various sides of the pool. ALL 3ft and some inches.

where the slides are that is acceptable but everywhere?
I thought it was unusual. I asked someone at the other pool why the main was so shallow and she said, "Good question! I don't know"

Guesses anyone?

Very useful clarification. Zero-entry: shallow. Other side of pool: 5 feet deep. Sounds cool to me.

It is very possible it gets deeper in the middle of the pool. Some are built were they are only 3 feet deep at the edge and get deeper toward the center of the pool. The orginial pool at the Grand Floridian is that way.
