Sorry, another Magic Band question...

So I already have a Magic Band.... that has my AP on it.
If I'm going for another trip.... they set me up with another band and sent a message that it's at the desk for pick up when I check in.

I tried to "link" my reservation to my old band and I get a message that it's already linked to my account.
Is there something else I should do that I'm missing?
Then when I get there, do they do something different?
How do they cancel that new one?

not sure why I'd call IT?
Cant they just deactivate the new band at check in?

They don't "deactivate" the old band(s.)

The old bands AND the new bands can be (and will be) both active at the same time.

The problem you have is not with the BANDS.
The problem is with your MyDisneyExperience account not taking
your new reservation info.

but it DOES show it's linked. It shows both bands linked to the reservation.
oh well... I'll just figure it out when I get there.

If it's already linked, there is no problem. You can either use the new band you get at check in or use the old band or a combination of both.
