Hi guys
Just booked 4 nights in september on the free half board plan , new to us.
We're looking at Blue Lagoon , plaza gardens and renevous with the stars as 3 of our vouchers but not sure about the fourth.

Brother found an old 2008 btrochure from Buffalo Bill that seems to show you could use a half board voucher and pay the differnece for the show ,anyone know if this is an option on the current half board plan? This would be an ideal use of our last voucher.

Have never eaten in any of these places on our previous trip so this is something to look forward to.

TIA

yes, you can still use a half board voucher as face value against a full-price BBWWS ticket :).

Many thanks for the speedy reply and you just made my day!

We're going 9-13 September , having never used these types of restaurants before can we just walk up to most of these on the day and hopefully get seated or are they all really book in advance jobs?

We're early eaters for lunch so would expect to be first in the queue so to speak.

Buffalo Bill is one we would prebook as usual though.

Just a thought but double check the value of your HB voucher and the price of booking BBWWS at the park beforehand. It may work out more expensive to go to the show this way than to purchase the tickets beforehand online.

We've always paid full price in the past and I have used HB vouchers as part payment, but this time I've prebooked on DLRP.fr and got 4 adult tickets for 140 euros.
You can also get tickets through some of the french ticket sales sites eg FNAC.

:)

The two buffet restaurants on your list are not a very good use of your vouchers in terms of value for money because the vouchers are worth more than the cost of the meal. You may not be worried as you got the vouchers free but wanted to make sure you were aware. :goodvibes

Also in terms of booking at that time of year I would think you should be fine to book times on the day you arrive. You can do it at the hotel concierge desk or at city hall. If you are worried or want a very specific time you could phone to book. :goodvibes

Thanks for all the advice and tips guys and gals. I did see the price for the buffets is a bit under the value of the vouchers but the 3 of us are quite fussy eaters and a buffet hoepfully will cater for us all :)

I would probably make a reservation for Blue Lagoon - it can be quite popular (I've tried to eat there twice but couldn't get in without an advance reservation, so went elsewhere instead!). Probably a day or so in advance should be okay...

Would agree to check out cost of booking BBWWS elsewhere - I got tickets for 35 Euros per person in May for the 9.30pm show!

I've never eaten in Plaza Gardens or Restaurant des Stars, but we used HB plus vouchers for Parkside Diner in Hotel New York and Hunter's Grill in Sequoia Lodge as they were meant to be more expensive buffets. I'm not sure if they were actually better though but the food was definitely excellent!
