Hi guys,
I was scanning the postings to see if this has been answered but I didn't see the exact answer so here goes...
We are DVC members and might want to buy annual passes when we arrive, does anyone know if we can get the DVC discounted AP price plus the GAD ticket value off our tickets?
Just wondering if it's valid for that...if not we will prob apply the GAD ticket to the price of just a multi day ticket.
Thanks!

Oh, also...if you enter the park w/your one day pass from GAD and then at the end of the day (while still in the park), you upgrade it, say you upgrade it to a 7 day pass...does that mean the next time you enter the park you will have 6 days remaining on it?

There is no such thing as a "Discounted" DVC AP (no matter what Member Services says). There are three different categories of Annual Passes, with different rate tables; Florida Resident is lowest price, DCV Members are middle, and Tourist (neither Florida Resident nor DVC Member) is the highest cost. There is no difference is the usage or benefits between categories.

That said, you can upgrade your GAD ticket to a DVC Member AP paying the differenc between the value of the gad ticket and the value of the DVC-rate AP (or PAP) plus tax on the difference.

You might want to look at the Everything About WDW Tickets locked sticky in this Forum. Especially the items bolded in the list below.

Thanks CF,
BTW, do you know the answer to the other question? if you use the one day ticket and then upgrade to say a 7 day one, would you have 6 days of usage left?
Thanks!

That is correct. You will end up with a seven day ticket with one day used and six remaining.
