I went to see this tonight all by myself. DH wasn't interested and I have really been waiting for this. It was really good! I haven't been a big fan of Nic Cage for some time but he is good in this and doesn't play an off the wall character, even though he is a sorcerer.

When I was leaving, a man with a teen son stopped me and asked if I liked it and I said I did, he seemed pleased and they both said they did also. I guess the reviews have been mixed but who cares? I say go! Great movie.

My DH and I went by ourselves to see it. (Kids at grandma's.) We both really liked it!! I'm surprised I'm not seeing more buzz about it.

BTW the kids saw it with grandma and really liked it too!

We saw it last night and we all liked it also.

When it came to the mop scene DD not to quietly said this is from Fantasia.
