I’m an annual pass newbie and looking to buy one this Fall. Any advice or tips would be much appreciated! Looking to travel in early November, early January, and mid-April next year, so this would save a good chunk of money.

If my parents have a DVC membership and my sister & I (immediate family members at the same address) would like to get annual passes for an upcoming trip, will they need to be present to active those annual passes, or will my sister and I be able to pick them up on-site without them? Also, does upgrading to an annual pass affect my current park reservations for a trip in November? Thanks in advance for any help!

In case anyone had a similar question to my own:

I called the Disney Vacation Membership line this morning with my mom, the membership holder, next to me. After being placed on hold a couple of times, I was informed that my mom could purchase the Sorcerer Annual Pass for my sister and I (same address & household) and she would not need to be present for pick-up. We would just need to bring appropriate ID that indicated that we lived at the same address. We were also provided an "INT" number, which may be an internal reference number, if we have any issues at pick-up since it was approved through the DVC membership line.

I was able to take the confirmation number and link it to our My Disney Experience account, but did need to make new park reservations. Luckily, our parks dates were still all available. I would note that Will Call tickets cannot be linked through the MyDisneyExperience app and must be done through the website itself.
