Sorcerer Hat and crane -- What's the status?

We leave for WDW in nine short days. N.I.N.E. YAY!
What's the status of the removal of the Sorcerer Hat in HS and is there still a crane behind the castle?

Hat is gone, crane I think is gone, walls are still up. Construction of a permanent stage is coming, no one knows its timetable.

And the crane's been gone about a week. (It stayed up a bit longer than normal this year.)

Just construction walls. It was something else seeing DHS with the hat gone with an unobstructed view of the Chinese Theater.
