I don't know if it is just me but when I rode Soarin' on May 26th, I noticed som black marks/smudges on the screen and it seemed anytime the scenery chaged, I would see them again. I really loved the ride but it kind of took something waay from the real feeling because I kept getting remined of the reality of it being a movie screen. Anyone else have this experience or am I the only one??? :confused3 BTW I was in the second row.

My husband pointed out the lines going up and down every 2 feet apart to put the screen together.

I noticed the black marks and lines, but it didn't diminish the experience for me. And the first time we rode it, the smells weren't working - the second time they were. I love that ride!

Is Soarin' really a ride or one of those simulated rides with a screen so you feel like you're on a ride?

Yes, its a simulator but not quite like Star Tours or Body Wars because they do lift you off the floor for a good 20, 30 or 40 feet, depending on the row you're in, and it is tilted a little to give the feeling of "gliding" over the different sceneries and the smells and even the environment changes. Very, very cool ride!

I loved the ride...and the smells...but I wonder why they didn't hit you w/ a blast of cool air when you flew up over the frozen tundra?? I did like the other smells though...very cool.

I noticed the black marks too. At first I thought they were birds..

I rode it last week 5 times and loved it.

I do have to say that the best place to watch it from is Load Zone 2 in row 1. We got that the first time we rode it. AMAZING!!!

The next couple of times were in different zones but in rows 2 and 3. I didnt like seeing feet dangling. It would be nice if they extended the "Glider" portion just a bit so you dont see the feet. It was very cool though and well worth the wait of 30 mins to ride it.

A MUST DO!!!

I loved the ride and also notice the black smudges but they didn't take away from the ride. Everytime you "flew"over something, I actually found myself picking up my feet so I wouldn't hit a tree or mountain . :rotfl2:

We even got to ride it 2x in a row because they miscounted so gave us a fastpass to use immediately. That was cool especially since DH and I were on our honeymoon. :love2:

When we rode it about a month ago, there was a huge black spot at the bottom of one of the screens, but I worked hard to not focus on it - it stayed there most of the time so I wondered if it was something on teh screen, almost like someone spilled something on it.
