Some random thoughts on the season finale.

Carmela seems quite content to have Tony back into her life and I guess Tony does, too. The scene of them lying on their bed, talking about AJ reminded me of the early season episodes when things were better between them.

I loved watching Tony run from the Feds. At first, I thought they were some of John's men coming to gun him down. Nice of Tony to warn John that they were coming. :p

Anybody catch the goof during the "AJ not completing his college papers" scene? His shirt sleeves were pushed up in the beginning of the scene, then they were rolled down and then they were back up again. C'mon, David Chase, we expect better attention to detail for this show!;)

Too bad that Steve Buscemi won't be back, aside from maybe some dream sequences next season. I enjoy him as an actor. I just watched Armegeddon again this afternoon. He cracks me up!

Well, that's it for now, I guess. I've heard the final season won't be showing until 2006! Ugh.

I didn't catch that A.J. goof at first, but when you wrote that I went back and watched it again - good catch!

I thought at first it was Johnny's men, too. I'm wondering if Tony's now feeling bad about his hasty decision to kill Tony B. If Johnny and his guys are busted by the Feds, I would assume Tony B. would've been off the hook - at least for a while. Too bad.

Kind of makes me mad about Carmela's role, but I suppose she really had no choice. Just wish they would have found a way to help her get out of there - maybe go be with that Italian guy she had the hots for a couple seasons ago.

I was hoping they would find a clever way to get rid of Christopher - I despise that character.

Long way to go for the next new Sopranos - bummer... :(

Awesome Awesome Episode. One of my top 5. I just love the everyday humor that David Chase writes into the show. It was interesting to see Dr. Melfi start to ridicule Tony about stuff, it almost like she's starting to care. Will she open up even more next season?

Also liked how he threw away the painting that Paulie had on his wall, very funny.

Did anyone notice how at the end of the show it looked almost like Tony was the bear coming through the bushes! My roomate and I were cracking up.

IMHO David Chase started off slow this season but the second half of the season(with the exception of the dream episode) started to remind me of the first 3. Great ending for the year, now I have to call and cancel HBO tomorrow. :teeth:
