It is amazing to see that so many hearts have been touched by Sophie, and that so many hopes are wished for her. I will keep Sophie, her loved ones who remain here with her, and those who our lord called home, in my prayers.
My heart is so heavy for this family; for their tragedy, their loss, their grief, for the unknown that lies ahead for them. I pray that they may find gods guidance in acceptance of their loss, and in their hopes for Sophie. That in time, when it is right for them to begin their healing process, that the lord will be there to support and guide them. Their future will not be easy, and I pray that this family finds comfort in knowing that we try to understand their pain, and that we offer to them our most heartfelt support.
I have been monitoring the updates on Sophie but could not write my thoughts for this family until today. Eighteen months ago my family was blessed when my brother and his wife escaped the Station fire. I just keep thinking how the Ritters have been confronted with having to accept what I had feared for my loved ones one evening; it is heartbreaking that they have had to suffer such a loss. I have so much compassion for the Ritters; for their terrible misfortune. It is my hope that Sophies family will find support and consideration that will continually be shared with them, and that Sophie may feel the love and warmth of all our prayers and affection for her. God Bless.
