It is with much heaviness that I sadly read the posting of Sophie's passing.
I admire David very much for acting in Sophie's best interest; for accepting that his decision could take his beautiful baby from him, and for performing the most unselfish act that a parent can do for their child. ...And in his circumstance of having already lost his Amanda and Emma, I can't imagine what he has had to endure... His was such a selfless act. May God bless him.
Linda and Mike, your strength and faith are so admirable. You and David are all an inspiration to me, and to those who have been reading your entries on this board. You will remain in my thoughts, prayers, and in my heart for the rest of my days. I have learned so much from you. You remain in my prayers, along with Amanda, Emma and Sophie. -- I pray for you, that your healing my begin.
I hope you do not mind my doing this: On Sept. 26th I will be sailing on the Wonder, I would like to honor Amanda, Emma and Sophie privately with a wreath woven of 3 purple roses, to be released when we leave port, in respect and memorandum for these 3 beautiful souls whom I have not met, yet have been ever touched by.
With kindest intentions, and in sympathy.
God Bless each of you.
