Sophia Dress question

So yesterday in the Disney Store at my mall, there was the Sophia the first dress and shoes and all the accessories. My 5 year old was beside herself with excitement. She has an appointment at the BBB in October and she gets to pick out a dress there, but will they have the Sophia dress? I asked the salesperson at the store and she did not know. Now I see there is a Sophia package at DTD BBB, but we are at the castle and we have the first appointments before the park is open which is the highlight of the trip (we take pics of the kids in front of castle with no one around!!!!) so I don't want change locations- any idea if the dress (not the hair style) is at the BBB??

Call them and ask or you could buy the dress now and have her wear it and only have to pay for hair, nails, and make up. That's what we did with my daughter when she was Belle.

I was thinking of buying the dress just in case and have it ready for her for that day or another day in the park- maybe the MNSSHP. I will call closer to the day we are leaving to find out if they have it

If that is the one dress she wants I would not risk waiting until you get there to pick one up. things do sell out. Especially newer dresses.

AND I have read online alot that this dress is really , really hard to find in the larger sizes.. Seems if you have a toddler no issue but sizes 5 and up are an issue.

I believe that I got an email saying that Sofia has a new package at BBB and a new Jake package at pirate's league.

I am going to try to buy the Sofia shoes at the Disney Store at home before our trip. I have the Sofia package booked for my 5 year old DD. I would purchase the "must have" dress and shoes prior to the trip. I ended up sewing a dress for DD since I couldn't find one in her size and the ones on etsy were so expensive. Also, I did see Sofia dresses and accessories at Target just this week, so if she doesn't mind not having the actual Disney Store dress that might be a cheaper option.

When I called to book the Sofia package at BBB, the CM specifically pointed out that no dress was included. I don't know if that means that they won't offer the dress at all, but I personally wouldn't risk it, especially since they aren't offering the Sofia package in the castle. We have the Disney Store dress and my 5-year-old loves it. We are going to take it with us for her BBB appointment and then head to HS to meet Sofia.
