This, my friends, costs $37,500!!!! We spoke to the CM at the store for a while about it. Turns out, they made 50 of them and, at that time, FIVE had been sold!! I can't believe ONE person could afford something like that, let alone FIVE!! She also said that the last one they sold, the man bought it for his wife for Christmas. He also included a coach, Cinderella, and her prince, which brought the total to $46,000! And all I got for Christmas was a cute pair of socks from DH!!!

what socks don't measure up to that?

I would not want that, I would be so afraid I would break it.

great update and pics. I was thinking of Portobello for next time.

This is a great report and is getting me excited for adult trip for Dh and I in late April. We are staying at POFQ. Can't wait to hear what the surprise is!!

I also forgot... so glad that you liked POR... I think it gets a bad rap on DIS.... due to the large size. I personally love it.... and your pictures make me want to go back!

We have been busy... no time to DIS with a baby on the way and we listed and sold our house since Christmas and are moving in 21 days (just down the road a mile... but still lots to do). But it is easier to move at 4 months pregnant than at 8 months, so I am hanging in there. While I am excited for baby 3, we had planned a WDW trip for August and well, I am having a baby around Labor Day instead. Terrible timing for a teacher too, oh well!

Portobello Yacht Club is a hidden gem. I think it used to be more popular, but with the advent of the Dining Plan (which PYC is not a part of), I think people bypass it....so glad you enjoyed your meal. The food looks great.

I would love to give that castle to my cousin who loves all things Disney...I just need to win the lottery.....oh wait...that means I actually have to BUY a lottery ticket....

You know, I never asked how the Cinderella slipper gift went! I'll have to look into that and get back to you!!

Really, even if I COULD afford that castle, and actually CHOSE to spend that much money on it... I have no idea where I'd put it. Of course, I'd probably live in a much bigger home, and I woud most likely have a room devoted entirely to Disney goodies.... so... maybe I DO know!

I wonder how fragile that castle was. Since its was locked away under glass, you couldn't really feel the texture... hmmmm. maybe next time I'll ask for a touch!

I would recommend Portobello... the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. HOWEVER, we DID only get appetizers... so I can't comment on any entrees!

Cat naps work wonders, don't they? If I sleep much longer than fifteen minutes, I get groggy!! But that nap was just what I needed!

I didn't know about the Dining Plan and Portobellos . It really was a nice place. I've walked by it many times, but really didn't notice it . Maybe because the huge Fulton's boat takes all of my attention!

Ha ha I am SO with you on the lottery thing. DH and I always talk about needing to win the lottery, but we don't play, either!

So glad you found me! Our bedroom set was purchased 5 years ago from The Disney Catalog. I doubt they still sell those any more But they always have great stuff! DH and I are thinking of investigating new stuff for Christmas!!
