After going back and forth, doubting the initial plans I had for various reasons (not the least of which was issues with my last call to the agency I'd booked through to try and change a room - being told that there was nothing in the category when their website was showing at least 20 staterooms was just one), I've cancelled the Celebrity cruise I had booked and will now be spending 3 nights in Miami and then a 4 night cruise to Castaway and Key West on the Disney Magic!!!

It will be my first time on one of the smaller Disney ships, but I'm super excited about it!!

Booked cabin 8500!! As far forward and high up as I can get!! Yay!!

We are on the cruise after yours, 5 nights in Cayman / Castaway. :) At first I wanted to be on one of the bigger ships, but now I am really glad that we are on the Magic.

Awesome!! I'm excited to try the smaller ship!! (I also like that even with a 3-night hotel stay in Miami it is less than my previous plans!!) And now I'm going to watch the Reimagined Magic special I recorded a while back and kept on the DVR!! :)

We watched that as a way to tell the kids they were going on the cruise :)

The Magic is lovely. We really enjoyed our cruise on "her" over New Year's.

Have a fabulous cruise! The Magic has less fancy new things, but is really a wonderful ship. And the adult pool area is so much better on the classic ships!

Thank you!! The only thing I really see myself missing (well, besides Believe! which is my favorite show - but I'm sure Tangled, Dreams, and...is it Twice Charmed? will be amazing as well!!) is MidShip Detective Agency - which I did a LOT of times on the sea day!! But I'm really excited to FINALLY try one of the Classics!!

And in classic me fashion, just changed my stateroom!! Now I'm in 2004!! I remember the last time I was pondering a Classic there was a lot of discussion about 2004/2504, and for over $1000 I can certainly do with just a window view and go onto the decks for fresh air. So... Hooray!!

And back to 8500. Lol. High and forward!!

LOL, We have to stay in one of the family room, se we are limited. If we had more choices, I'd have a hard time choosing.

I've been known to do the back and forth switch thing a lot - hence the main reason I prefer to do my own booking.

Ho funny how you are keeping changing your room! Our next cruise I followed your advise and we are booked into 9000 on the Fantasy. Very excited about the room as I think this might turn out to be my perfect room! I am not a balcony person on the cruise at all, so those large portholes seem to be perfect for me.

I hope you have a great time! Tangled is far and away my favorite show on any of the ships.

Yay!! I LOVE that category on Dream Class!!!

In this case I'm doing 8500 because the portholes aren't as high and forward on Classic Ships as I like to be.
