Background-DS8 really wanted Nike shox last year when school started.I found out how much they cost and he did not get them. When he made out his list for Santa they were on there second(right after new bike).Santa brought them and he has taken good care of them-only wearing them to school and when we go out.I dicovered this past weekend that they are too small and bought him new shoes.
Yesterday he went to his teacher and asked her what size shoe her seven year old son wears. He did not tell her why he was asking.Last night he cleaned the shoes and asked me if he could give them to someone who needed them.I said yes but he wouldn't tell me who he had in mind. This morning he took the shoes to his teacher and asked her to give them to her son.Even though her son says few words(he is autistic)he would touch my son's shoes every morning and smile before school so he knew he liked them.He told her he hopes that Blake smiles every morning when he puts them on.

What a wonderful story, what a wonderful boy you have there. Almost gives me a lump in my throat; well, it does.
