I really don't know where to start. We are looking for go to DLP for 4 nights in April this year. Initially I thought we would like to stay at the Disneyland Hotel but I think it's more than we wanted to spend.

I then swayed totally the other way and thought we might stay at the Davy Crockett ranch.....

I *think* my final decision is to stay at a medium priced disney hotel but I am wondering where the best place is to find information on what type of rooms are available and where to book to get the best prices :confused3 A lot of the special offers seem to be ending at the begining of April as the 15th celebrations come to and end :confused3 :sad2:

I think we want more than just a 'standard' room, is it possible to book something like a queen or king bed for us and then either a double but preferably two singles for our LO's???? I don't think we need to go to the extent of booking a suite  but I think we will need a family room or connecting rooms of some type :confused3

We are looking to fly from Manchester and Air France seems to be the best option so far  I have found good flight times for around £592 for the four of us so I guess we have around £1000 to £1500 a the very MAX to spend on our accomodation

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated :goodvibes

Thanks,

Ali:goodvibes

Most rooms in the hotels have 2 double beds if there are 4 people to a room. The Cheyenne has a double and bunk beds. If there are only 4 people you won't really need a family room or connecting room as this will increase the cost. The rooms can sleep 4 people comfortably.

Most rooms are standard with the exception of Sequioa Lodge & Hotel New York where they have Lake view rooms, that is the only difference.

The 15th Celebrations are continuing till next year, the offers will probably change to something else but as the beginning of April is most schools Easter break there won't be many deals.

We are staying at the ''Dream Castle Hotel'' the rooms are huge and definately sleeps 4 people.

Have a look at this link... it shows you a video of a TOUR around the hotel including the family room...

ALSO this link is a VERY detailed written review on the Hotel including LOTS of photos....

The rate are fab, very reasonable!
and its a 4*

Hope the links help ;)

Hi,

A standard room should be suitable for a family of 4. With the exception of the Cheyenne though, as previously mentioned all Disney hotels are normally listed as 2 Queens or 1 Kingsize.

We had a very nice room at the Newport Bay Club (Admiral's Floor) in March 2004, which had a Queen bed and bunkbeds, which was a surprise as no-one had ever mentioned bunks at the NPB, if you're planning on booking with Disney direct, you could ask what possibilites are available.

Honest opinion - avoid the reviews on Trip Advisor (I think the people on there have been to a completely different DLRP than me) and stick to ones on here. :thumbsup2
