We are coming to WDW for the first time Nov 7...we are a male 53 and female 51 and we have saved for 8 years for this trip...Disney has been a DREAM for me all my life...but...life got in the way...also son 24 and Girlfriend will be coming with us...maybe...just maybe we will be lucky enough to get a dream come true from Disney...to wax poetetically if I may...I used to watch "Wonderful World Of Disney" every Sunday as a child and young adult with dreams of going there some day...we are staying at CSR
All I can say is we have a count down going and CANNOT wait until Nov 7, 2007 at 5:30 am when we leave for WDW!!!!!:

You'll have an amazing time... congrats... CRS is a beautiful place too. I only stayed there 1 night last year, but really loved the resort. Have fun!

My advice is to read these boards and allearsnet, AllEarsNet, so that you will be prepared. And then when you get there, relax and have a great time!

CSR is a beautiful resort. Be sure to walk around the resort at night...the way they light it is absolutely beautiful.

If it's in the budget, I would recommend the buffet breakfast at the Maya Grill. Delicious!!!!

I'm so happy for you!!
I am happy for everyone who goes to WDW (as long as they are not going when I'll be there, because then the lines are too long and the restaurants too full ) but if someone had to save so many years, it's even more magical than when you go every month (as I do know with DLP...)

Be sure to all have Photopass cards, get as many of those pictures as possible and get the Photopass CD. I know people can make their own pictures, however, for some reason (I think it's called pixiedust), those Disney-pictures are always prettier!
Also do the ride-pictures-for-cheapos-thing, that way you'll have every ride picture without spending fortunes!!! (you just take a picture-without-flash from the screen that shows your ride picture. If you use a flash, you'll only see the light in the screen... as you can see, I have this technique down to perfection )

Don't put any Disney-food in your mouth before you have a picture of it. Have pictures with the characters (Duh, everyone needs a picture with Minnie) and have LOTS OF FUN and no stress. Who cares you haven't done ride or haven't seen a certain show. Just enjoy the moment, the atmousephere, the music, the smells, ...
