three weeks before prom this kid bails on me.
he couldn't even tell me to my face, so he didn't show up
at my house, he didn't call me, he messaged me on myspace.
and tells me that he promised someone at the beginning of the year that he would go with her, and her prom is the same day as mine.
are you kidding me?
not only that, i don't even know what we are towards eachother, i was under the impression that we were going out, as in boyfriend & girlfriend.
but according to my aunt, he was talking about getting some girls phone number last weekend and when she said something he told her he wasn't "tied down". the only thing is he is a real smart you know what, and so we don't know if he was kidding with her or not, cause he does mess with my aunt all of the time, and she is very dramatic.

the funny part about all of this is that this kid begged me to go out with him.
i finally do, and this is what i get out of it.

the only reason i haven't told him it's over yet is because my little sister adores him, and when she heard me talking to my mom about ending it she cried.

it's like, i want to end it but i don't because if i promised my friend that i would go with them to their prom i would probably not go with him either. BUT, i would tell him that the night he asked me, not three weeks before prom!

i am soo annoyed and confused right now. .
anyone that would like to give me a little advice, that would be lovely.

Lol. Glad everything worked out for you. Sometimes this stuff is hard. Most of my friends are older than I am so i'm helping them deal with this now. I [sarcastic] can't wait [/sarcastic] to actually be dealing with this for myself.

I've never liked the idea of the prom. Why spend hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars to go to what ammounts to another school dance, except this one has a few more bells and whistles?

I've done the research. You can go on a vacation with your date for the price it takes to go to the prom.

and my bf doesnt even have to pay that much, he just has to rent a tux, I'm gunna pay for the tickets and such, since it is my school. And since we go to boarding schools we don't have the traditional having to show up in a limo thing, the school actually just brings us all in a coach bus.

ooo, okay, I can understand that. I know I am unreasonable an confusing. lol

yea at my school the juniors and seniors go and if you are a sophmore you can go if you go with an upper classman, and freshman aren't allowed to go. But this year I am an upper classman so I am excited, I think I will have a good time even if my bf decides he doesn't want to go with me.
