Sony Cybershot DSC-n2

I normally dont post here but have a question. DH bought me a Sony Cybershot DSC-n2 for Valentines Day. He knows ive been wanting a Cybershot for a long time (I love the quality of the photos over on the 'disneys picture of the day' thread.

Please tell me if this is a good camera? He did not know what to choose in the line of 'cybershots' and didnt ask me-- since this was suppost to be a surprise (he never can keep a surprise from me).

I am in no way a professional photographer of any type. I use my digits to capture family events, vacations, etc. I really am looking for a camera with a good battery life (doesnt eat batteries) and will last a while-- taking good photographs.

It should be fine for you and it seemed to review well. If you are considering if you should return it for something else, then the only thing I can think of that you might want to consider is the amount of zoom. It is 3x, which is not all that much. You give up the small size for more zoom though. Along that same line, ignore any digital zoom specs. All that is doing is cropping the image, which you can do better on your own at your computer.
