Sonic in North Carolina?

Hi All!

We are driving down to Disney World via I -95. According to the Transportation info that is available on this site, it says that there is a Sonic off of Exit 73 (US 421, Newton Grove, Clinton, Dunn).

However, when I just went to the Sonic Website, I didn't see anything mentioned for the above towns....

Does anyone know if there really is a Sonic off of Exit 73 in North Carolina on I-95?

If not, does anyone know of any other Sonics that are off of I-95?

I see so many commericals for Sonic up in CT, yet we don't have any! I really want to try one!!

I can't confirm the Sonic in the location you are talking about but I can say that in NC we have plenty of them. The milkshakes and burgers are good although nothing too spectacular, at least in my experiences. Good luck finding one!

Try using the clickable map locator on the Sonic web site - http://www.sonicdrivein.com/index.jsp

I know there is a Sonic in Lumberton, NC because we have stopped there a few times. It is only a short distance off I95.

I found one listed on Sonic's website for Dunn, NC, on the part where you choose the city and state. It looks like it's maybe 6 miles or so off the interstate.

The same search shows one in Smithfield, 20 miles to the north, that's right off the interstate. That might be better if you'll be in the area at mealtime and don't want to venture far off the interstate.

One thing I don't like about that clickable locator map -- after you click on it and it pulls up 10 locations, scroll down to the bottom. In the blue field with the "New Search" button is a link for "next 10 locations". Well, the text is so close to the color of the blue field it can hardly be seen. I found the Dunn loction on the 4th page.
