Sonic for burgers?

If I had a Sonic right across the street I could die a happy woman. Well, maybe not, because then I couldn't take advantage of it, but you know what I mean. I am completely and totally addicted to Sonic ice - yes, the ice - don't care for too many of the food items, although popcorn chicken is starting to get my attention. Our Soncis used to sell ice by the 10lb bag, and I would buy 2 at a time. Now they've stopped that, but I can get 6 Route 44 size cups of ice in my freezer doors, so I stock up when I'm running low. Sonic ice is a treasure in my house - if we have only one cup left, it is automatically mine, no matter what. LOVE the Sonic....and I absolutely will stop and stock up on ice when I stay next week in my BCV 1 BR!! Thanks!

You mean ice as in frozen cubes of water? Like the ice they put in your soda? Are there flavors to choose from?

I miss Sonic, I grew up with that place,, had 2 of them in my home town. There are NONE here! I used to love the burgers(havent had one in about 10 years... so don't know if they are still tasty, the cheese coneys and the ONION RINGS Cheddar Peppers were yummy too! STOP! Im making myself hungry. I used to wash it all down with a Cherry Oceanwater. I like the ice too The ice cream was fine, we had a Dairy Queen across the street that had the best ice cream, so we only did Sonic ice cream when the Queen was closed.

Oh and if you go b/t 3-5 all of their drinks are 1/2 price. Even root beer floats! I got a large RB float the other day for $.70! Can't beat that and mmm was it good.

Please don't shoot me but we have one right across the street from us. As a matter of fact I am looking out the window at it right now. You can always get a diet cherry limeade. Not as good as the real thing, but pretty good. It has diet sprite, and sugar free cherry juice and lime juice. Go b/t 3-5 and it's only like $.85 for a large! Nice afternoon treat.

This thread is SO funny - because my friend and I were having a debate about it just 2 days ago. She lives less than a mile from one, and I live about 5 miles from it. I have been to Sonic once in the last 5 years - with her! Her family goes at least once a week! They make it an "experience" - they always drive in their old convertable mustang (top down, of course) and eat in the car. The kids LOVE it.

I must admit, I love their tots, all the drinks, etc. But, I live in a place where there are about 10,000 restaurants (including Steak & Shake and Fuddruckers) between my house and Sonic, so we never get that far.

I may have to go there this week, but it will totally blow my WW diet! Stay away, Mary, STAY AWAY!!!!!

Their banana cream pie shakes are awesome. Also, their burgers are pretty good (much better than McDonald's and Burger King burgers in my opinion).
