Okay, I'll admit I am a crier, but this song makes me cry every time I hear it. What song is it for you?

Home by Michael Buble

if you click here www.michaelbuble.com the song will play after a few seconds. You don't need to click anything once you are on the site.

Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying". Ever since my uncle was diagnosed with cancer last year and then passed away last month. Gets me everytime. :sad1:

Probably not supposed to admit this being a guy and all but Luther Vandross's "Dance with my Father" hit hard the first time I heard it.

I'm not a crier... but all patriotic songs get to me. Particularly this one:

And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

You're in a better place, I've heard a thousand times
And at least a thousand times I've rejoiced for you
But the reason why I'm broken, the reason why I cry
Is how long must I wait to be with you

I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now

Help me Lord cause I don't understand your ways
The reason why I wonder if I'll ever know
But, even if you showed me, the hurt would be the same
Cause I'm still here so far away from home

I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now

In Christ, there are no goodbye
And in Christ, there is no end
So I'll hold onto Jesus with all that I have
To see you again
To see you again

And I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
Won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
Won't you give me strength to make it through somehow

"God Bless the USA," especially when it is sang on the Fourth at events and soldiers/vets are being honored. Lindsay is a bowl of mush after that.

"Hello" by Evanescence. Amy Lee wrote it about her sister who passed away when she was young.

"You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. Not only do I LOOOOVE Josh, the song is perfect for my hubby and I.

Its Your Song by garth Brooks. When my dad was undergoing chemo for lung cancer it came on one night while we were at his house, and he looked at me and said "Bran, this song reminds me of you"....... :guilty:

It's been almost 7 years and I still cant get through the song

Brandy

"Skin" by Rascal Flatts
It's at the end of their "feels like today" album...the "secret song". they just started playing it on the radio. Talks of a girl, Sara Beth, and her fight with cancer. I ALWAYS tear up at the end.

Mine is Fire and Rain by James Taylor. If I hear that one on the radio, I am a puddle by the time its over.

Just yesterday morning, they let me know you were gone.
Suzanne, the plans they made put an end to you.
I walked out this mornin', and I wrote down this song;
I just can't remember who to send it to.
I've seen fire, and I've seen rain.
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end.
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend,
But I always thought that I'd see you again.

Won't you look down upon me Jesus?
You gotta help me make a stand.
You just got to see me through another day.
My body's achin', and my time is at hand.
I won't make it any other way.

[repeat chorus]

Been walkin' my mind to an easy time,
My back turned towards the sun.
Lord knows when the cold wind blows,
it'll turn your head around.

Well there's hours of time on the telephone line
to talk about things to come:
Sweet dreams and flying machines
in pieces on the ground.

[repeat chorus]

oh, and the stupid Christmas Shoes song always makes be cry like a baby even though its one of the cheesest songs ever written.
